Not all skincare products are designed to work with CIT, nor go past the first three lines of skin barrier defence.
It's imperative to use ingredients that compliment and preservecellular function, rather than potentially inflicting harmful interactions withingredients such as fragrances, conventional emulsifiers, preservatives, parabens, silicones, amines, mineral oils or colours. These ingredients are not physiologically recognised and have no place in the skin, especially when undergoing CIT treatments. How it works
EXCEED Medical Microneedling manipulates the skin's natural wound-healing process to increase collagen and elastin production and remodel the skin. Very tiny needles are used to penetrate the top layer of the skin vertically causing localised and controlled damage without substantially affecting the structure of the epidermis. The creation of controlled microchannels in the skin instigates the regeneration of skin cells via a natural process of healing. Awakening the fibroblast that lies within the deeper layers of the skin, healthy collagen is naturally produced. The treatment is a quick & easy technique with little downtime. After a course of treatments, skin structure is visibly revitalised, rejuvenated, replenished and regenerated.

What Should I expect after the CIT treatment?​

It is normal to see and feel a mild sensitivity and redness after treatment, resembling a moderate sunburn as the skin naturally heals the redness will resolve. The skin may remain red for 3-4 days after treatment, although is usually for it to subside within 2 days and many people are able to return to their normal activities on the same or next day.

How many treatments will I need and how often?

The number of treatments depends on the treatment goal and what you are wanting to treat. But we normally recommend a course of 4-6 treatments at monthly intervals between 6-8 weeks.
